Team Leader - Recovery

Ensure adequate coverage and Intensity of recovery efforts in the assigned portfolio. Provide necessary advice and guidance to Recovery Team in review and analysis of the assigned delinquent cases with the objective of improving the repayment and recovery potential in each case and thus ensure past due and classified advances are within targeted limits.

Control and monitor the Recovery Team to achieve set targets through regular review of Daily Weekly / monthly reports received.
Review and approve settlement I proposal I postponement and write off.
Meeting customers for complicated cases and display good negotiation skills and credit perspective to ensure more and more customers are persuaded to clear outstanding and the amount written-off is minimized.
Checking all the cases recommended by recovery officers for legal action to be taken and ensure that all Legal actions are taken as per set Legal Policy.
Update Head of Centralized Recovery with the latest development in the team and ensure that market feedback affecting credit & risk are highlighted from time to time to Area Manager for further dissemination.
Coordinate internally with different departments to ensure proper follow-up on classified customers.
Contact externally the different official authorities to ensure quick enforcement of decided actions,
Ensure adequate use of MIS reports to assist in reduction of the past due position.
Provide high quality service to internal and external customers to achieve customer satisfaction.

Bachelor degree holder
Minimum experience of 5-7 years in banking, or another similar field incorporating continuous customer contact.
The job holder should possess good knowledge of business products and prevailing legal Laws with high level of influence and negotiation skills and communication.
Should be able to work under pressure and is also re be customer focused.
Strong Leadership skills.
