Local Market Manager

Job Purpose
- To effectively manage defined Local Market to achieve financial and non-financial targets and successfully meet customer’s expectations.
Key result areas
- To manage a branch with a customer base over 15K and a portfolio size 150M in Assets and over 140M in liabilities.
- To identify the new business opportunities within the local trade boundaries through broader market knowledge.
- To achieve CVI based target by identifying target groups and deploying appropriate sales approach and allocate resources accordingly.
- Predict customer attrition ratio based on trend analysis and market dynamics by monitoring customer behavior to maintain it at the lowest level.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by defining roles and responsibilities and monitoring Branch resources in order to consistently meet the set service delivery standards.
- To consistently achieve acceptable risk rating by adhering to Bank Operating Policies, procedures and monitor exceptions and facilitate accounting controls to minimize operational errors.
- Set job objectives and perform timely review to measure performance and identify staff development and training needs.
- To ensure clarity among staff of KPI’s and job competencies required to effectively achieve business goals.
- Identify and reward high performers and implement an effective retention program for critical staff.
Knowledge skills & experience
- University degree required.
- 5 to 6 years of Banking experience.
- Adequate knowledge on credit compliance and risk management.
- Understanding of Branch Operational Procedures and Policies.
- High levels of networking capabilities and people management.
- Adequate knowledge on different sales techniques.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multi-dimensional tasks.
- Ability to perform under pressure and time constraints.
